Mode 1: Process Existing Items In Submitter And Stop Mode 2: Stop all Mode 1 allows elegant stopping and users are recommended to use this mode to stop the submitter. 10.Pinger will now perform a link check before pinging the URL. If URL fail link check, it shall be not be pinged. 11.Added a new option at pinger allowing user to exclude a URL from being added into the queue if it already exist. To enable this option, right click on the pinger to open the context menu. Hover mouse over "Settings" and click "Do not add duplicate URL into queue". NOTE: If you have a lot of items in the ping queue, enabling this option can cause drastic performance degradation. 12.Improved submitter to better handle sites that are not able to handle special characters. 13.User can now instruct submitter not to save HTML files. To enable this option, right click on the submitter to open the context menu. Hover mouse over "Settings" and click "Do not save HTML files". NOTE: You will not be able to retrieve error pages from the task logs screen if this option is enabled. 14.You can now add sites to group via the "Sites" tab. To add sites to a group: 1. Select the sites using the row selector 2. Right click on any of the selected site 3. Choose "Add Sites To Group" from the context menu 15.The following tasks now support loading of content from .TXT files: - Article - Bookmark (Link Tree Only) - Press Release - Directory - RSS - Video - Web 2.0 - Wiki Users who receive articles from their writers can store the files (in specific file format) into folders and the software will be able to pick them up and use the content for submission. A very small number of users are having their database rolled back when the software is closed. Updated the saving mechanism to prevent this from happening. 2. Copy username and password to clipboard does not work for Wiki task logs. This is now fixed. 3. Typing in upper value fields in "Set Rules" for bookmark task is resetting the lower value fields. This is now fixed. 4. Submission report is ignoring the "date" filter. This is now fixed. CHANGES 1. Added "Alexa" ranking into group management screens. 2. "Manage Account Profiles" and accounts listing under "Sites" tab now display first and last name. 3. Added "Always Collapsed" option for account listing under "Sites". When checked, the account panel will not auto expand. NOTE: This option is not sticky. It will be "forgotten" once you close the application and this is intentional. 4. Popup message in PageRank scanning tool has been replaced with slidedown message instead. This will prevent situation whereby a closed scan PageRank form from stealing focus from the software due to the invisible message box. 5. You can now set selected items in the task log as completed. To do that: 1. Use the row selector to select the desired records 2. Right click any of the selected records 3. Choose "Set as Completed -> Selected Items" 4. Choose [Yes] 6. You can now mark a task as completed from the project task screen. To do that: 1. Right click any task from the project task list 2. Choose "Mark as Complete" 3. Choose [Yes] NOTE: If you want to reverse the process, simply edit the task from the "Complete" listing and save the task. This will reset the status to the original state. 7. Now you can't edit a task if submitter is running and it still contain pending items. You will be prompted to stop the task. Click [Stop] when prompted and the submitter will stop any items that it is processing. Once the status reflect as "Stopped", you can proceed to edit the task. NOTE: Trying to edit the task when the status shows "Stopping" will prompt you with a message telling you to wait for the task to be fully stopped. 8. Improved memory usage of submitter when it is running. 9. Removed "Export Report" from task log. 10.Launching site detector from scraped result screen now switches over to "Sites" screen. 11.Launching site detector from "Sites" screen now allows user to stop the submitter if it is running. 12."Manage Account Profiles" now allows user to select multiple accounts and update their status. Example, to update: 1. Click "Account Profiles" from main toolbar 2. Select the profile that you want to update 3. Use the row selector to select the accounts 4. Right click any selected account and choose "Set Selected Accounts To" -> "Pending Creation" NOTE: If you are not able to select multiple accounts, you will need to right click any account and choose "Reset Default Layout". 13.Increased the time delay limit between each ping cycle from 60 seconds to 3600 seconds. 14.Pinger now has its own proxy server list. It no longer shares with global proxy. NOTE: If no proxy setting is configured for Pinger, it defaults to global proxy. 15.Sites removed from a task now has a proper status. Cancelling edit of an existing task after adding sites to "Step1" multiple times causes those sites to be saved into the task. This is now fixed. 2. Warning message does not show up when user is creating a bookmark task that will generate more than 10000 items. This is now fixed. CHANGES 1. Duplicates are now removed before proxy servers are sent for testing. 2. Updated DemonCore engine. Self-added sites that support live link reporting now allows {DO|NO}FOLLOW tagging. Plugins will progressively be updated to support the new feature. 3. Changed the project task status message "Preparing For Submission" to "Waiting For Submission". 4. Previously you can only pause a task if submitter is running. Now you can pause a task even when submitter is not running. 5. Saving bookmarking task now display more information on screen. This provide better user feedback as they will be able to know why a task is taking a long time to be saved. 6. Now you can edit default category when you are setting up site grouping under "Sites -> Manage Groups". 7. Project task now displays the associated account profile. NOTE: Only newly added task will reflect this information. For existing tasks to reflect this information, an edit + save action is required. Nested link may occur during contextual link insertion when there are 2 set of keywords with 1 set being a subset of the other. This is now fixed. CHANGES 1. 2 new platforms supported. You can now self-add Clipshare video sites and JCOW Web2.0 sites. 2. Bookmark module previously does not accept image URL for bookmark submission. This behavior is changed and now you can add image URL into a bookmark task. NOTE: Image URL does not have meta information loaded. You will need to enter the meta information manually. 3. You can now change the username if the account status is "Pending Account Creation" from "Sites" -> "Accounts" and "Manage Account Profiles" screen. 4. Most records layout screens now remember its appearance settings. Those that don't, are intentional. 5. Adding of sites from task log to a group name that already exist no longer create a new group. Instead, the sites will be appended to the existing group. 6. You can now merge groups of the same type from "Groups Management" screen. To merge groups: 1. CTRL + click on row selector on groups that you want to merge 2. Right Click on the group that selected groups will be merged into 3. Choose "Merge ? groups Into: [Group name]" from the context menu 7. Now when saving a task, the earliest schedule date will always be applied to pending items first. This ensure that schedule does not appear to be off scale from task settings. 8. For bookmarking task, saving of task now remove items if it is outside the range specified under "Set Rules". 9. Previously, cloning "Content" of bookmark task does not copy the settings of "Set Rules" over to the new task. Now it does. NOTE: Cloning "Sites Only" will not copy the settings of "Set Rules" over. 10.Cloning of task now display "Clone of xyz" as the task name. All scheduler settings are also cloned over to the new task. 11.You can now select multiple live links from the "Live Link Report" and copy the selection to clipboard. To copy selection: 1. CTRL + Click on row selector 2. Right click any selected live link 3. Choose "Copy Selection To Clipboard" 12.Improved the way data are being saved when new records are added. 13.Now only live links that are marked as "money site" will be added to ping queue. 14.Article, Press Release, Web2.0, Wiki tasks now support "Protected Words". This prevent the built-in rewriter and API spinners to spin words that are protected. To use, click the "lock" icon on the rewriter toolbar. Protected words are grouped and this allows you to reuse them across tasks. 15.A tooltip now display next to the task name field when creating or editing a task if it detects another task sharing the same name. The following conditions will trigger the tooltip: Same project + Same type (Article, RSS etc.) + Same task name NOTE: You can certainly use the same task name but to avoid confusion, you can choose a different one. 16.You can now add time delay between each ping cycle for Pinger. 17.Site detector now does 2 layers of duplicate detection before sending sites through the detection routine. This greatly speed up the detection process. 18.Updated the first layer of item shuffling during saving of task to create better randomization. 19.Added a new rewriter API - SpinRewriter. 20.Added auto performance tuning routine for pinger. 21.Editing a "Schedule Later" task that has a date in the past and saving it throws the error "Schedule date cannot be in the past". This behavior has been changed. Now editing such a task will have the schedule date auto adjusted to current date. 22.You can now disable audio alert during manual CAPTCHA input. 23.Added a new housekeeping function "Clean Up DB" on main toolbar. It can be accessed from "Tools". This function will permanently delete the following data from the database: 1. Removed projects + all associated tasks, submission & live link reports. 2. Removed sites + all associated task items. 3. Removed email accounts + all associated account profiles & tasks. And at the end of the clean up, unused space will be freed. IMPORTANT!!! Deleted data are no longer restorable. You are recommended to back up your data files before using this function. Some sites redirects when a trailing / is missing from URL. This is now handled properly. CHANGES 1. Added a new "Statistics" tab that will display a break down on the daily scheduled items. Default shows all past items that are still pending, and up to next 7 days. You can change the date from the calendar dropdown. 2. You can now specify the range of contextual links that will be inserted into an article. 3. Double-click an item in task log will now open the item for edit. 4. You can now mass retry items from task log based on the status of the selected item. To retry items with status = "Connection Error": 1. Select the item that contain this status from the task log 2. Right click on this item to open context menu 3. Go to "Retry All Items With" 4. Click "Status = Connection Error" 5. Click [Yes] when prompted NOTE: Not all item status can be reset. I.e. Completed items cannot be reset. For such items, you will see a message indicating that it can't be reset. To retry items for a particular stage (e.g. items that have exceed retry limit for "Account Verification": 1. Select the item that show "Account Verification" for the column "Stage", and status showing "Exceed Retry Limit". 2. Right click on this item to open context menu 3. Go to "Retry All Items With" 4. Click "Stage = Account Verification & Status = Exceed Retry Limit" 5. Click [Yes] when prompted 5. You can now select sites from the task log and create group using the selected sites. To group sites from the task log: 1. Use the row selector to select the sites that you want to group 2. Right click on any of the sites and choose "Add Sites To Group" 3. Give the group a name 4. Click [OK] 6. You can now select sites from the task log and export them into .CSV file which you can import into another copy of UD. To export sites from the task log: 1. Use the row selector to select the sites that you want to export 2. Right click on any of the sites and choose "Export Sites To .CSV" 3. Specify a file and click [Export] 7. Items created for new task always starts with "Account Creation" -> "Pending". During submission, the submitter will then update to actual stage based on actual account status. This behavior has been changed. Now when items are created, it will reflect actual submission stage. This will avoid misconception that UD is trying to create an existing account. 8. Adding web pages and sites to a bookmark task now detects the following scenarios and warn the user: - If no web pages but only RSS feeds are added. This is because RSS feeds are used only for camouflage purposes. Web pages have to be added before task can be saved. - If more than 10000 bookmarks will be generated based on random rules, sites, web pages and RSS feeds added. This is because a lot of computer resources is needed when there are too many items to be generated. 9. Implemented global blacklist into the system. Now user no longer can submit to sites that are blacklisted from our system. Task items that contain blacklisted sites will display a status showing "Blacklisted". 10.Added "Date Added" column into "Sites" tab, and group management. User can now identify which sites are newly added and groups can be created with these sites. 11.Now you can mass remove URLs without title from the ping queue. To do that: 1. Click on the down arrow next to the "Remove" button 2. Choose "Mass Remove URLs Without Title" NOTE: Pinger has to be stopped before mass removal can be used. 12.Submitted title are now used as the title for pinging. This speeds up the pinging process as Pinger no longer require to fetch the title from the live link. 13.User are confused when they look at the mailbox as they can't tell if emails have been processed. Now, processed emails will be struck through. Emails handled before this version are not affected and they remain as normal. 14.Synonyms chooser now display synonyms in ascending order. 15.You can now export "Live Link" into .TXT file. NOTE: Exported .TXT file will only contain the URLs. 16."Invalid CAPTCHA" status occurs when an error occurred when down- loading CAPTCHA image. A more user friendly message is now display -ed when this error occurs. The status is also changed to "Invalid CAPTCHA Image". The old status was causing confusion among many users, making them think that the error is returned from Visual Aid provider and that credits are deducted from their account. This error is not related to Visual Aid Provider but CAPTCHA image provider. User can now restore a removed project. To restore: - Click the down arrow next to "New" button from the project screen - Choose "Restore Removed Projects" - Select the project(s) that you want to restore using the record selector - Click [Restore] NOTE: The submitter needs to be stopped before you can restore removed projects. Some projects require the software to be restarted if you restore them. 9. Previously, when user hit cancel during proxy testing process, the proxy servers that have completed testing process are not retained for submission use. Now user can cancel proxy testing and proxy servers that have already completed the testing process will be retained. 10.User can now use "Link Checker" to check if sites are still online from "Sites" screen. To invoke "Link Checker" from "Sites" screen: - Select sites that you want to test using record selector (CTRL+A to select all) - Right click and choose "Test X Selected Sites With Link Checker" 11.Now you can remove sites from the main list through the "Link Checker" using the "Connection Error" tab. 12.Added a new option "Skip IP Retrieval" for submitter. By default, submitter will retrieve the IP address used during the submission process. If proxy servers are configured, submitter will randomly pick a proxy and have it tested before using it for submission. Tick this if you wish to skip the IP retrieval (and proxy test) for faster submission. When this is ticked and submission failed with proxy enabled, submitter will retry submission by picking another proxy. Added a new "Link Checker" tool. It allows user to test a list of URLs to find out if they are still available online. You can also call out the link checker from live link report. To test if a live link is still online or not, just open the live link report and right click on any of the links. Choose "Test With Link Checker". NOTE: Link Checker rely on HTTP status and web server can manipulate it to always return a success. What this means is that sometimes a link can be listed under "Connect OK" but it could be no longer online. 8. Added a new content spinner API (TheBestSpinner) into rewriter. 9. Select the task you want to clone 2. Right Click to display the context menu 3. If you want to clone only the sites of the selected task, choose "Clone To New Task (Sites Only)". If you want to clone both sites and content of the selected task, choose "Clone To New Task (Sites + Content)". NOTE: You can clone the content of an article task into Web 2.0 and vice versa. 9. On startup, UD will now only check for sites update once every 2 days. Previously UD will check everytime it is started up. This change will speed up the startup time if the software is closed and opened again within the 2 days since the last update. NOTE: To force UD to check for new sites, go to the "Sites" tab, right click on any site and choose "Check For New Sites On Next Start Up". 10."Groups Manager" now reflects the health status of the displayed sites. 11.Added characters counter into rewriter. Now besides seeing word count, user will also be able to see how many characters are there when they rewrite. 12.The rewriters in all type of tasks now has a tool tip that will provide useful information to the user to increase their submission success rate. It will be activated when the content in the rewriter is too long (or short). 13.You can now remove unhealthy sites from "Group Manager". To remove them, right click on any site and choose "Remove Unhealthy Sites". 14.You can now specify which bookmark point to your money site when you create bookmark tasks. This allows you to identify which live link points to your money site when you retrieve the live link report. NOTE: This is mainly for bookmark tasks. This allow user to create niche groups that target a specific type of platform. E.g. There are 2 conditions that need to be satisfied before email accounts can be removed: 1. Submitter must not be running. 2. Tasks that uses the email address will also be removed. 15.You can restore removed email accounts back into the software. 16.Removed "View Logs" from submitter screen to avoid confusion. User now can only access the logs via "Task Log". 17.Removed "View Error" from task log screen. Now the error will be displayed on the error page panel. Now user no longer have to click the items individually to access the error page. Performance for loading the error page has also been greatly improved. To further prevent IP from getting banned, we have also added "Google Friendly" mode in the scraping process. It will slow down the scraping process if there are little or no proxy server defined. It speeds up when you have a lot of working proxy servers added. 3. Now you can use catchall emails within UD. 4.
